2U Boasts Three 8-bays Hybrid Backplanes
Supports 24 x U.2 NVMe, features 8 x MCIO 4i connectors, 2 x SlimSAS (SFF-8654) connectors for SAS/SATA transfer rates, and comes pre-installed with three 8-drive capacity modules specific to this model.
Hybrid Backplane & Expander
Supports 24 x SAS/SATA, or 12 x SAS/SATA and 12 x U.2 NVMe, features 12 x MCIO 4i connectors, 4 x SlimSAS (SFF-8654) connectors for SAS/SATA transfer rate.
Rear Disk Backplane
The IW-RS224-09 supports 2 x 2.5" SAS3/SATA SSD drive bays at the rear of the server to accommodate system disk requirements.
Customizable Cables
InWin offers two standard lengths for MCIO 8i to 4i cables (500mm and 600mm) and a standard 600mm SlimSAS 8i to 4i cable, with additional customization available to meet customers' specific motherboard requirements.
